Who would you drop to put Crookes at Centre.

Heres a novel idea, we have three centres (+Whiting) and three wingers, why don't we just play the best two out of the three. Any slight injuries and we have cover.

My own view is Lineham will be create but Crookes has impressed me so far, especially under the high ball. We have the luxury of bringing in Lineham gradually before he becomes full time next season.

I hope we are in negotiations with Tom to extend his contract because this kid has the world at his feet. Has the lot and isn't frightened of anybody.

Potential to be better than Briscoe IMO, Tom B can do some magical things at times, but think Lineham will bea more consistent player.

Him and Green are the two highlights fir me this season.

Ah Van went to square up to him after Tom had put him on his backside. You could see the "Ermmmm maybe not" look on his face

Briscoe to centre could be an option. He doesn't seem to be doing much on the wing at the moment, but there's obvious quality there so maybe a change could bring out the best in him?

As it stands, we're going to have to keep him on the wing until Crookes returns regardless (as there's no one else). Ben Crooks should keep centre spot until Jason is back. Arundel not deserving his spot at the moment.

Lineham needs to be signed up to a long term deal ASAP.

But until we get a decent scrum half, none of this really matters.

About 5 years ago, yup. Then realised he's an international winger.

And he struggles to pass without looking uncomfortable just like Yeaman.

I would drop Briscoe for Friday and play Crookes and Lineham on the wings. Briscoe looked totally disinterested/distracted. I think his mind is elsewhere. The shock of being dropped may help him re-focus for the rest of the season.

Is Crookes fit?
