| Quote R.B.A="R.B.A"Richard Hornes new contract probably puts to bed any new half backs arriving in 2014. I think the announcement was done on purpose to avoid future speculation and ease pressure on the guys in possession of the shirts. Danny Nicklas and Rich Wilkinson seem like good prospects and should be pushing further in 2014.'"
I'm going to start calling you Pilkingtons.

Can't disagree with this.

| We will be after a 7 no doubt whatsoever, it's what we miss and Gentle and AP know it.

holdsworth's kicking game would have made a big difference in the 2nd half

Yup. Although not so much during that 15 minute period when Wire had 12 out of 13 sets.

This. He's further down the pecking order than me.

Think our coach was being diplomatic when he said Brett was 'very much part of the plans' after dropping him against Leeds.
He obviously isn't or he'd have been in the set-up last night.

Agreed. If it had been Seymour there'd be a 10 page thread about it by now.

| I thought Horne had another decent game last night given the role he was required to play. It was good to see us making some space for him on the last tackle and as a result his long kicking was much improved.

| Heremaia isn't the answer at scrum half, but neither is Seymour. Both are equally ineffective in my opinion. That said, you could argue that it's pretty pointless to weaken the hooking position to avoid playing Seymour, but I'm sure Gentle has his reasons. I suppose we don't see what happens in training and whatnot.
What's abundantly clear is that we need to sign another half back before we have any chance whatsoever of being considered more than a mid-table side. If Holdsworth was to pick up a longer term injury, we'd be screwed.

| If we were in the market for a new half back are any due to become available? Would be a competitive market too.
