Think Nicklas, Shaul , Briscoe, Kent and Hadley will be the main 5 ,
Green and Bowden are on the verge of first team, maybe they will rotate for a few weeks at a time to give equal game time whilst having a spell back here for first team duties, similar Crooks/Lineham

Thanks Chris.
Wheels, if Nicklas is on a full loan surely it should be 5+1 unless he's recalled, we can't recall him a game at a time, or can we?

The quota of 5 players includes loans and DR players yes mate.
Nicklas can also be recalled at anytime with 24 hours notice. He is still training with Hull regardless.

| Friday nights should suit York better, whoever doesn't play Friday could be available for York Sunday.

| rlHull have offered the Knights the services of winger Jack Briscoe, winger Tom Lineham, prop Josh Bowden, back-rower Dean Hadley and half-back Danny Nicklas for Sunday's game with Whitehaven.rl
I wouldn't be surprised to see all 5 in the line-up to be honest, especially after last weeks respective performances!

Does that look like Green playing tonight then?
Also a little surprised no Ben Crooks, although not sure if he can still play for our 19s for now.

| Jack Latus has signed trialist forms at the Knights after his trial at Hull ended last week.
Nicklas, Shaul, Lineham, Hadley and Bowden all played for York today. All seemed to get stuck right in in a tough opening game up in Cumbria.
Two great individual tries in the last 5 minutes from Tom Lineham rescued a bonus point for York, and he was also considered to be York's best player on the pitch today.
I would be more than happy to take these 5 every week, and if we do I'm sure we will see a lot of improvement as they get used to York's plays, especially with Brown and Nicklas at half back.
Another positive for us this weekend, Paul King has postponed his retirement for a year. (The cynic in me thinks that he just wanted to dodge pre-season work!)
Lots to work on, but I'm sure we'll come good.

| The DR players all tried to do too much individual stuff yesterday and didn't integrate with the team plays at all. Kicking over the top on the first tackle (Nicklas) and losing possession when a basic set would have got us over the line, round the back passes close to the line when a simple pass to the winger would have been a try to name 2 things. We had 80% possession in the first half and only coughed it up in their 20m when trying to do miracle stuff close to the line. Seemed the Hull lads expected it to be up to them to win the game instead of playing to the game plan, but that was always going to happen I suppose when they were part of a side which put 60 on us the week before.
I've no doubt at all that if we keep the core of these lads from one week to the next and get them on dry ground the team will win a lot of games and they will play an instrumental part in it, as long as they realise they aren't quite world beaters yet.
Lineham was the pick of the bunch for me, scoring 2 late tries out of nothing really (although the last one didn't get touched down IMO) but he also did some daft stuff like offloading on the first tackle 20m from our line and rushing in from his wing in defence a couple of times.
They'll only get better as a team and players hopefully, and it's nothing that game-time won't fix.

| Just read Kylie Leuluei and Richard Moore have both gone on dual reg with Hunslet, surely thats a bit wrong and not what this system was designed for?

Indeed. In my eyes its a complete abuse of the system.
I'll be very disappointed if York and Hull take this route and we end up playing Ellis and Tickle for a week just to get their fitness up. It relegates the Championship to a glorified reserve league then.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| That's the obvious plan Wheels.
Where else are they going to get match fitness?
