i have moved my trip to tossa de mar.because most of the group dont like lloret

Ended up in Tossa by default a couple of years back after our accomodation in Beziers had been double booked, it was an eventful trip including a 5 hour round trip for the game, but Tossa was spot on and we had a great little place right on the beach, so as Wilf says to be recommended. Since this trip we now always spend a few days in Spain as it's so much cheaper.

This year we've already booked for 2 nights in Perps then hiring a car for 3 nights in Callela - Worked out at circa £210 each (excl fuel & tolls).

I always got the impression Lloret de mar & Tossa de mar were Blackpool with heat but looking at some reviews about Tossa . It doesn't sound that bad tbh.

I visited Tossa de Mar about 20 years ago and I would describe it as a very quaint little place then but not sure how much it will have changed, however Llloret was like Blackpool in the sun back then so fear that will be even worse now.

Tossa is the complete opposite to lloret.

Quite and scenic. Nice beach. Sand a bit rough. Ideal for family's.

Flight to Gerona.
Hire car from the airport to Tossa
Stayed in Tossa for 5 days.
Drive to Perpignan on the Saturday morning.
Great afternoon in Perpignan soaking up the atmosphere
Game on the night and 1 night stay in Perpignan.
Drive back to Girona on the Sunday for the flight home.

I have done the 7 nights in Tossa with the coach trip into Perpignan on the Saturday
returning after the match.
It is a bit of a long day. But ok if you don't want to do any driving

Were just getting the numbers together , Tossa sounding more likely now . The coach option doesn't sound to bad as this would save on hire car and additional hotel costs. I guess it was CST who did the trip ?.

Plenty of streets like this for the girls to go shopping

My favourite on that coastline is Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell (not be mistaken for the bigger more touristy Calella). There just a couple of small, beautiful neighbouring coves.
About an hour from Girona.
