There is far more to preventing injuries than just having an experienced physio. Yes there is conditioning, warm up / down, etc etc which would ordinarily involve the head phys.
But are we training correctly, playing to how we train. Is the set up correct, are we playing within the rules.
Are we giving payers enough rest between sessions, sending out players that are not 100% fit.
Is the diet correct, are we supplying players with the correct clothing, supports for training / playing.
There has to be a huge strategic overhaul to pinpoint what we are doing right / wrong and then work smart to address the issues.
I would expect that AP has discussed with consultants and SM, PG & AH have been involved at some level.
A lot of this has to do with PG and how he is strategising / structuring he above.
That said, we are through the season going to pick up injuries so we have to be prospective as well as retrospective.
