Bit harsh. I think he has the potential to be better if he gets quality ball in space to his wing. Chase would put him away every week

His defence was awful last year
This season he was the target of high kicks which he always dealt with
and opposition would attack his side and was a better tackler and had more postition sense
Would put that all down to PG in the pre season
Notice how its the side with Crooks and Turner that we leak a lot of points now
Will Sharp would have been in that position and would have done better (not knocking Crooks)

Problem is, like others he will have been signed on a big deal as we had competition when we signed him fron hudds.

Crookes will be much better value for money.

Pearson talks about not settling for mediocrity anymore and yet some think Sharp is worth keeping. This is the sort of signing Pearson is talking about, amongst others.

Indeed , Sharp has improved but to say he's been brilliant is way off.

If we were replacing him with someone who is clearly a better player, then I would think it was a good deal. I haven't seen a lot of Crookes to know if he is that better player. Hopefully he will be.
