| Quote knocker norton="knocker norton"Interesting statement from O'Carroll and I hope he backs it up on the pitch.
Injuries still seem to be a problem for him and we wont see the full ability of Eamon O'Carroll until he is able to string at least 6 games together back to back. That said the same applies to O'Meley this year!
What has happened to Josh Bowden? He was looking the real deal earlier in the season, has he been taken out of the firing line for a while or is he injured?'"
bowden played for the u20s today, decent game from him today, one of if not our only forward who was able to make any decent ground against a much bigger and stronger wolves pack

| On a related note, Pitts looks a very good signing from what I've seen. Lynch, Moa/New signing, Pitts, O'Carroll and Bowden for next year? Or would you look to replace O'Meley as well (assuming he's off)?

I'd hope so. Not enough heavyweight grunt for me, don't really see Pitts as a prop.

But does PG still see him as a prop, afterall that's where he said he intended to play him when we signed him.

I think that Pitts has looked pretty strong in defence but I'm unsure if he can make the metres going forward that are required from the props.
He's made 173 tackles in 6 appearances, which is a 28-29 average per game (and he's been getting spelled so he isn't playing a full 80 each week). That's a very good defensive workrate.
I think that he'll be a good Loose Forward, but we also have Westerman and Whiting for their so I don't know how much time he would get in that position.
He's been good for us so far and I hope/expect that he'll improve with having more time under our coaches.
edit: Stats are from the Super League website and so I assume that they are accurate.
Link: www.superleague.co.uk/stats and select Hull FC from the dropdown.

| He's a decent prop but the problem is he is always injured so is constantly playing catchup in terms of fitness and form. 4th prop at best for next season.

| We need a more robust type of player to fill the boots of O'Meley. Especially, if Sam goes home. We also need someone to start games more often than O'Carroll does.

| Quote Monko="Monko"I agree. I just can't see him losing his injury proneness and the older his body gets the more prone it will become. =#0000FFHis size reminds me of Paul Gallen but we never see enough of him to ever know if he will be half the player Gallen is.'"
He reminds me of Greenhill, in both size and style.
