| Quote super_fc="super_fc"I expect there to be well over 3000 FC fans in attendance, we could well outnumber the home support on sunday.'"
Given that our core home support is about 6k, if you outnumber us, that would mean the ground would be over capacity. There'll be plenty of Cas fans down the Princess Street side as well as you lot!
Quote super_fc="Jake the Peg"Worst attack in SL against the best defence. Can only be one winner surely?
Cas were rubbish on friday so I expect a bit of a backlash'"
Our defence needs to improve massively. The performance on Friday was actually better than the previous week against London, believe it or not. I can't see anything for us in this game, although an improvement on last season's result would be nice.

Disagree Bonzo. We were competitive for an hour in London, looked a threat going forward and London scored some decent tries. I'm not saying Huddersfield didn't, but so many tries came through unforced errors from us and we weren't competitive in the game in the slightest.

| I hope to see us just be competative on Sunday - something we haven't done since the Cats game. Unfortunatley for Tigers, we look like we don't want to be in SL. The more hammerings we get the more excuses we give the RFL to boot us out IMO. The rot has set-in I'm afraid and the natives are definately restless.

We made a shed load of unforced errors against London in the first half and then couldn't defend which is where their points came from. In the second half, we didn't leave the dressing room. Huddersfield's defence was far superior to London's which is why we had no creativity on Friday.

| Quote super_fc="super_fc"Already really looking forward to this one, Cas looked very poor against Huddersfield on friday night although I expect them to be fired up for this one, and we will need to be at our best to come away with two points imo. We've got some real momentum now and need to be just as ruthless in defence and attack as we were against Widnes. Hopefully Horne will be fit to play as well as I thought we lost abit of structure to our play without him yesterday, although Ellis/Nicklas are more than capable of stepping in.
I always enjoy my trips to Cas, its one of the games I always look out for when the fixtures are released. I expect there to be well over 3000 FC fans in attendance, we could well outnumber the home support on sunday.'"
You'd need more than 3000 but the way we're playing (6 wins from 26 and last home win early July 11) 4500 would probably do it. Hull by loads.

I hope not. Don't want to lose Cas out of SL.
How's the plans for a new stadium going? Is it going to be near Xscape?

| Going to Cas is a must almost like an home game for me in many ways, the only place the Boulevard atmosphere is re created.
Cas fans are great , the ale super and always the chance of bumping into an old time great, even Roger the dodger.

Probably for a different thread but it's difficult to see a future for us in SL beyond the current license period at the moment. You're probably in the minority for not wanting us out!
We have final planning permission for the stadium on a site between Xscape and the M62, but don't have the funds. We're currently waiting on a deal for Wheldon Road to be developed into a supermarket which would provide most of the funding to build our stadium, however progress is very slow and we haven't had an official update for some time.

Shouldn't be just about stadiums, Castleford have an excellent record for developing players, this alone should be enough.

I agree completely however the RFL have always put more emphasis on having a nice stadium. Indeed we may have one eventually and if the designs are anything to go by it really will be an excellent venue. Unfortunately the RFL also seem to believe that RL clubs exist in a little bubble that isn't affected by global recession - a major financial stepping stone in any current developments.
