Sounds like Gentle's a lot more friendly to the kids than Agar ever used to be from these interviews and speaking to a couple of the young players, having the full club training together once a week, and speaking to them more than he ever did.

I'm guessing the players that liked Agar are the ones that were happy about not having to fight for their place in the team every week.

Dead right jtp, the guy was a clown and his treatment of the young lads was a disgrace, really looking forward to watching some of them come through next season
Remember agar at london with danny we was 30-0 up at half time and fitz had been out for a few weeks was blowing out of his yet agar doesnt bring danny until he replaces reece on the wing, genius thank god hes gone |

One of the most pleasing aspects (Amongst Many) is the noises coming from the youngsters at the club. This is so refreshing to hear. It's like a breath of fresh air for the fans, god knows what it's like for the up and coming players at the club.

its quite a simple philosophy really,and i for one would have had a little more sympathy (slightly) for agar if he would have adopted this policy..nothing against horne or any other player but if a nicklas or any other young lad comes in for an injury or loss of form and produces perfomances they stay in the team,it will produce a healthy competition for places. |
