The point people are trying to make is Seymour is not been dropped through poor form, he's been kept out by a very good up and coming player.

It will be interesting to see how Heremaia is received by the fans as it has been a while since we have had a 'proper' hooker that is controls the ruck with a fast and accurate passing game instead of Berro/Houghton who were more running threats but have pretty average passing ability from the floor.

Good point, however I think Houghton's all round game as improved this season. Been very impressed with him.

Seymour was playig really well but broke his thumb/hand after about round 8 ish, the form of Johnson has kept him out and obviously NZW are looking to the future. Same as with McKinnon but with Moltzen also moving on, he is on the bench due to some below par performances.

Aslong as McKinnon can keep injury free. He will prove to be a very season. Just hope he hasn't lost too much pace!

Think Mckinnon is the one I worry about injury and form wise , no doubting his ability but hasn't had a great run lately

Yeah he is still a good player and am kind of glad that he is coming off the bench, reducing his risk of injuries!

from what i have seen,and what a friend who lives in nz have told me,seymour is an excellent player who will look even better in the super league as it is sadly nowhere near the standard of the nrl...its just that johnson is their future and is an excellent player already.
