| Quote WormInHand="WormInHand"If Tickle still played for Wigan he'd have been capped years ago. I'm quite happy for Hull to fly under the radar but it's not fair that the players sometimes have to as well. How do we compare with other teams for Sky appearances this year?'"
Seem to remember Tickle looking badly out of his depth for England against the New Zealand All Golds a few seasons back.
Good Super League player, but a long way from being England class.
Deservedly way behind the likes of Westwood, Ellis, Burgess, O'loughlin, Wilkin and Sinfield in the pecking order for a back-row spot.

| I agree with him being behind Ellis, Burgess, and Westwood but I'm not so sure about Sinfield and Wilkin.
I reckon that if Fitz retires this year, which I think will happen, we'll see Tickle move the Loose Forward next season, with Westerman on the right and Manu on the left.

| Danny Tickle has been outstanding this year; no nonsense forward play, full of grit and determination. He's certainly got his head down and focussed on his rugby.

Criminal if that happens Westy has been our best player since he was moved to 13 in Fitz place.

| Westy may be on the teamsheet at 13 but he's been playing more on the edges.

| Very underrated player who this season has cut out his one weakness, conceding penalties. Arguably our player of the season along with Manu and Ogre.

Was thinking the same, although wouldn't have O'Meley in my top 3, probably Yeaman.

Agree with that Paul....
one thing we have learned is that we can still operate at optimum without Fitz which is good, another thing which is really nice to see is washy playing some neat footie at present and showing us all he is worth keeping...
all starting to fire bit by bit all at the right time ..... absolutely no fear of Leeds at present ...6th place here we come IMO

| A loose forward doesn't necessarily play down the middle anyway

was impressed by washy on friday like you say some really nice touches that people dont pick up and like always defensivly very strong and when hes tackling the speed of the attacking player going down is always slowed down and usaully ends up on there backs which is important. washy just lacks that speed and attacking flair which prevents him from been better but i cant see him been here next year if im been honest
