indeed cindy, recently I've watched a few old games and I can honestly say that SL isn't as entertaining (to me) as the 'old' league.

Not at all, I am just saying what I see, the cheating etc. in SL now is embarassing, it just isn't as good to watch (to me), do you remember watching Gregory/Edwards/Hanley, who is comparable in the modern game?

The modern game is very different to pre SL, much fitter and faster and thus more enjoyable for the fans although maybe it doesnt fall into the whine and winge remit it is in fact true,

We were told to make sure the tackled player ended on his back 20 years ago when I started playing. I guess that is the same as "winning the wrestle". The difference is a lot of coaches now like to use these terms to make them sound like they've graduated from the Harvard School of RL Coaching..........ps, is "winning the collision" the same as "fooking hit him"???
