I agree with Cod'ead. Just not his timing! Happy with the win, but time will tell if it's a one-off or if things are on the up.

However, for today, I'm just going to celebrate by getting extremely drunk. Hooray!

Good win but it is just another win against a team in the the bottom 4 nothing to get excited about.

I would know what? That we beat a team languishing in the bottom 4??? Some fans are easily swayed, Cod'ead had it spot on with papering over the cracks.

Put it this way...if it wasnt Rovers we beat,would everybody be going over-board....Agar still needs to go to enable us to go forward but il enjoy the win today but still big problems.

There was a difference in attitude and commitment today, maybe that was because of the opposition, maybe not. But don't sit at home and pretend you saw the whole thing.

So when it is on tv you cannot see the whole thing? We beat a team with 3 wins to their name and relying on a scrum half who has been out of the team for 8 weeks and not trained with the team during that time.
If you want to make it into something special feel free to delude yourself.

What's not special about beating your fiercest rivals at home in front of nearly 20,000 fans on a beautifully sunny good Friday?

I dont see anything special about derby games except 2 points. Today was no better than beating Crusaders. Sad thing is most of our fans would accept mediocrity if it meant 2 wins against Rovers.

I think a win against Wire/Wigan/Leeds/Saints is much more special because they are the teams who will be challenging for the trophies.

Get back on the beer lad.

It's great that we won but let's be honest, rovers were gash. If we back it up with a competitive performance at wire and then beat saints then I'll believe we're on the up. If we get tonked at wire and lose to saints then the derby win is meaningless
