| Quote Hutchie="Hutchie"City and GB have had capacitys with reserved mate.
Only condition i know of is the 10% rule if any are un-res'"
I think thats right Karl in fact I am sure it is, I think we could see east being reserved next season, who knows, but can't see beer being back myself, still a decision on that will be made in the new year I guess. Depends how the RL viewed our efforts in introducing this ban after the trouble last season.
Personally I think that the cap should reward teams that get big gates and are solvent, simply because they and the fans have made the effort, and not just sat back and lived on the Sky money and handouts from their directors perhaps an additional 100,000 for clubs who get gates over 12,000 would encourage those who don't to try harder. Just my thoughts though.

| I would like one major rule change for starters.
The second a try is scored the clock is stopped and the kicker is allowed one minute before he has to take the kick which should not come from the game's time.
12 kicks at goals by a dominant team means the fans miss 12 minutes of playing entertainment.

It definately applies to football but maybe rugby is different? City had to have about 1900 match day tickets available for all home games for instance.

| What I'd change if I was the boss:
Encourage Touch Judges to actually have some input into a game.
Some sort of salary cap exemption for home-grown players, to work as an incentive to improve youth set-ups etc.
Stop the whole swapping nations thing at international level.
Prevent clubs from having more than five players from Aus/NZ in their squads.
Make a rule that SL clubs can sign upto 5 more players from 'emerging nations' (basically anywhere other than Aus/NZ). E.g. French players would only have 50% of their salary on their quota, Irish 20%, Samoan 30%. Signing Aussies on Maltese passports, for instance, would not count. To count as a player from that nation, a player must be eligable and make a formal announcement of their nationality, which they will not be able to swap.
Bring back some form of the Yorks/Lancs cups as season openers.
Cut the playoffs down to 6 clubs.
Scrums allowed to be contested.

Very possible we'd be back to the bad old days though, where clubs bought players they didn't really need just to stop other clubs signing them.

| Quote fc baldy="fc baldy"Would like to see 4 touch judges...1 for each 1/4 of pitch and also when you boot the ball out over the dead ball line while attacking..say from 30mtrs out...if it goes dead you have tap from where ball was kicked.'" The only problem with that is that it would mean TJ's actually do something.
We all know they are only there to look pretty.

It is possible and I know it is just one option they are thinking about for East Stand next season, the percentage of unreserved applies to the capacity as a whole.

If they make the whole East Stand reserved next season then it will rule a fair number of people out of going, it's unnecessary at this moment in time, attendances are only going to go down (IMHO)

| Can I also mention the fact that folks want to go back to old fasioned scrums.
People seem to have forgotten what normally happened when we had contested scrums that being a scrum sometimes taking up to 2 mins due to the constant resets.
I don't want to watch 10 mins of scrums per game personally.

It's Rugby, the scrum is an integral part of the game, with contested scrums we'd see a lot more skill return to the game.
