An unpopular opinion but IMO allowing drinking in the stands is a bad idea. Took both children yesterday and the idiots behind us, as per usual, spilt their drinks over them. Normally this happens during the game but they excelled themselves and started before kick-off yesterday. Plus the constant getting up and down - pain in the ass. The club won't make any money out of additional beer sales either. Allowing drinking in the stands just ratchets up the probability of trouble in my view. I know, I'm a miserable old bag, but there you are.

Its how it was reported live on the radio, it also seems to be the version that McClennan was refering to, presumably he was told by Scott Donald what happened.

Maybe if you didn't actually see the incident you should wait and see what the terms of reference are ?

Hopefully the SMC will be held liable, presumably they provide the security as part of the stadium hire ?

I saw both incidents and i didnt see either bloke approach any players. The one in the first half threw a dummy to a player but from a distance.

I'll admit I am a bit miserable about it, but when you need to consider taking a cagoule and a handbag you're not bothered about getting wet, it's gone too far and starts to spoil the matchday experience. If you can't go 40 minutes without a drink it's a sad day.

With the drinking in the stand bit it was fine at first round us but now its getting ridiculous, got soaked twice yesterday from a distance too, plus lots of folks bringing two and three pints in with them and then starting argueing amongst themselves and almost came to blows. I'm affraid although Fc Voices argued long and hard with the club for it to be introduced I'm with Mrs B.
