He's been an excellent servant to the club imo giving us the cover that only a work-horse prop can. If and when he leaves I won't be joining in with "FC reject" if it starts up when he plays against us.

Looks like the Yorkshire Post have him gone, and signed. No big loss for me personally but will miss him he has been around a long time and a good club man too. However you have to ask if you aspire to be the best team in the League and you attained those lofty heights is it likely that Ewan would be in your stating 17? He has been a good servant but I would agree with a lot of the above. The club should only pay players what they think they are worth! Good luck to him!
I doubt the club will let him go without a replacement lined up and the more that go, the more ability to recruit under the cap you have.
It will be intersting tonight as he is down I believe to be commentating with Mark O'Meley on the Hull V Wigan 7's game on KCFM at 7-00

Think some people being a tad harsh on dowesy I still wouldn't mind him here next season because who we going to get in to replace him , fielden could be in for cusack + radford

We need 5 props IMO, Fielden will replace Cusack, if Radford and Dowes also leave we need 2 more props, or 1 if Lauaki moves up there. Fitz, imo, shouldn't be anywhere near the front row. |

It's an interesting point. Will he be able to play 80 minutes next year? I don't think so TBH, I'd maybe move him to prop as he effectively plays there anyway and spell him more. Westerman would perhaps be our 13 or Washy. |
