No, but we know that he will carry us through tough times if and when needed. He is a prop nearing the end of his career who needs game time and fitness to gather momentum. I don't expect him to disappoint at the business end of the season.

Just to stick up for Yak a bit is it a coincedence that last 2 games when he has started we have kept the opposition to 0 points by the time Cusask first shift has ended? His first 15-20 mins against both Hudds and Catalans I am sure led to both teams been kept blank.

I also noticed David Ferriol leave the pitch on Friday after 9 minutes (i did check with the official clock ) looking cream crackered! Maybe Cusack and Dowes do have a positive impact not noticed by a chunk of the watching speccies?

Could see the point in paying off yak if we were able to get a half back from oz but with visa's were not going to get one . Also with us struggling for forwards he will still be needed

Dont get me wrong I am not saying it is because of Cusack just merely highlighting that he does add value to our middle defence when starting.

Nah, I wouldn't go that far. He was a good player, but is now below average IMO. I don't think he was ever the [itype[/i of player we needed though, which is probably why he's come in for stick for the past 2 seasons despite doing a good job.
