i really do think we can win on monday a win. granted we have just come out of a hard battle with rovers but wont that made us more ready for a bigger battle with a team that reaaly didnt get tested against salford

According to Bomber on teletext,Salford gave as good as they got,and the scoreline didn`t reflect the game.

reckon our good home form could well continue,the players who are coming in for the game on monday will want to put a good performance in to prove something to agar that they should be in the team.

To be fair, I don't think Salford will have laid down and died for Wire. There will of been big collisions and lots of effort from both teams.
I think if anything its more of a mental thing that we after get over for Monday (injuries aside), which is trying to get yourself up so soon after a derby game.
Unfortunately I think this may be our downfall.

Despite our 100% home form Warrington will start this one as favourites. They have impressed me when I've seen them this season. They will be shipping the ball out wide to players with pace, a tactic which has been causing us problems so far this year.

I'm looking for effort and commitment from Hull, if we get the bounce of the ball who knows.

hope its a big crowd for one of the biggest games of the year though, the website claims the east and south are almost sold out

I'd like us to do a bit more with the ball tbh. More support play, Dummy runners, Quicker play the balls , and some cut out passes would be nice . An improved completion rate is a must or we will get crucified against wire. We seem to start games slowly this season for some reason so a good start is also needed.

This is crucial, as is improved discipline. If we give Wire as much cheap possession as Rovers and Salford received it will be a long, long afternoon.

We need to play a patient game, build pressure and field position, and only start looking to throw the ball about when we're in a decent attacking position.

If we play like we did yesterday then Hull will win.

I think it will be a really close game and am looking forward to a bit of BIFF on the pitch with Morley, Fitzgibbon and O'meley.

To be fair though we did look to be saving our energy for this game and Briers in line to return is a huge boost.
