Could be improved with decent preparation.

But,this has been consistent for so long now, can't see it being fixed
for another 2 years- at least!!

There was a mitigating factor today, none last week or in the Crusaders game. It can't be basic skills as we [ican[/i play without these faults in the odd game. Must be a mental thing.

Whatever it is, it needs fixing.

Could you describe exactly what our preparation consists of ?
I don't get down to training and would be interested in hearing from someone who clearly does.

better than us on both counts today

I doubt we completed more sets and I'd be amazed if we conceded less penalties although silverwood did try and even them up at the end of each half

you know, even though I agree with you completely, I'm just glad to put one over on rovers. I haven't watched the game again with any semblance of even-mindedness but during the game I thought that on the "what the hell was that for?" penalty front I think we came off second-best and did well to hold them out after squandering the possession you speak of. Well done FC.

Open rugby is fine but not 20-30 yards from your own line.

We're getting there. Without so many penalties against we would have had far more ball. That's what we need to work on IMO. But our players need fair protection from the ref.

Thought the offload that Radford attempted was really unlucky when it came of that jammy sods Vella's foot.

Saying that, they did drive me mad with poor offloads and daft penalties.

At least we got a couple of sneaky ball steals in.
