Good luck Dan - I was out of work 3 months last year - know how you feel - got a job for 6 months initially and they made it permanent in December - like the others have said be yourself, be honest, slightly early and POLITE. I know I am one of the lucky ones, but I do believe things happen for a reason.

Hey folks, just had the interview and it went ok and think I have a good shot at this cleaning job. The only downfall is that it's part time and Im only going to be earning two pound extra than I get now

Im sounding greedy now but I need money to live and when you study for 6 years after school and eventually earning a B.A HONS degree it makes you feel like you have been wasting your time

I sound greedy now and I do feel guilty walking into the job centre every two weeks but I was after a full time job with a bit more money. Even if it isn't something I studied for. If anybody has any FULL TIME jobs out their they know of plz messege me. I NEED WORK LOL

Fair play to you mate for going for the job. I wouldn’t feel guilty at all, you obviously have a good work ethic and just want to earn some brass.

Even if they offer you the job, I am sure people would understand if you turned it down. The extra £2.00 that you would earn wouldn’t cover your travel costs I presume.

Unlucky fella but never ever feel guilty over not getting a position my friend, never ever, the will to try puts you way ahead of thousands of scroats who cant even be bothered mate.
As for your degree again you should be proud of it so wave it as your flag pal!!

Like I said try the RAF regiment mate, with a degree your straight into officer training, company range rover da da da ... fitness , travel , decent wage what more could you want at your age!!!

Might be worth asking whether you qualify for tax credits on the basis that you are working part time for a low wage? Not sure but worth a try.
