We get this same thread every week, yet it always appears to be the loudest chant on game day. Fair enough if it gets sung multiple times, but last night for example i think i heard it once, twice at most. Considering it was to peoples knowledge that rovers were losing at wigan, it's a given that it's gonna get sung at some point.

I don't see it as an anti Rovers song, but a pro FC song.
Think back to our childhoods. We all grew up in a city where there were 2 rugby teams we could've chosen to support. This song is about making the choice to follow the Black & Whites and not the Red & Whites.
I think them singing "We all hate Hull" is far worse!!! |

Think people get annoyed with it because it is all about the Hull/Rovers rivalry when we should be either singing songs about OUR team or against the current opposition. Some good chants started up last night like Hutchie mentioned but they failed to gain any momentum.
Just comes across to me as a bit of an obsession with too many supporters. Much rather some of the old classics be sung.
