59th minute hit on fozzard was an absolute belter. Did he not like that, shame you could hardly see it. There were times when he comes into the tackle as second man and literally knocks people sideways. His defense was simply awesome. Cant wait till he is match fit.

The amount of work he got through was brilliant. Especially in defence.

Hits hard in defence too. As someone pointed out, even if it just finishing a tackle off he takes no prisoners.

He has the nack of coming in 3rd man and going straight into the ribs.

Totally owned Fozzard and played very well in attack and defence....he also has a off-load but with them conditions,he didnt use it....very smart play and will be a hughe assett when he gets up to fitness.

Good call that....we noticed that on Sat night when Sts was on our line....we had done a 2 man tackle...Fitz and someone else when O'Meley came in to finish them off...we just stood there and winced.

Its about time we had a pack to be proud of. The fighting for position is going to immense and i thought the team spirit was fantastic! The coaching staff have done excellent work in the off season... lets face it, it was long enough

Thought O'Meley was lacking match fitness as can be expected after the lay off that he had. Didnt stop him making 4 tackles in one set and all of them were bone crunchers. Cant wait til he's fit.

Yeah got through loads of work in that first 18 mins he was on , especially as we was defending for most of that , He has said will take 4-5 game to get fit so only going to get better , hit on fozzard was class !!! Well done OGRE

he was knackered but he hasn,t played a game for 7 mnths, when u think of the muppets who were supposedly fit last year ie kingy and thackaray he looked like usain bolt

He’s a proper ‘impact’ prop and everything he does is done with 110% commitment. Every hit-up and every tackle hurts the opposition, you can’t do that for entire games no matter how fit you are. We’ve always had consistency in the front row but now we’ve got that ‘X’ factor, he will leave a mark on every opponent he runs in to, literally!
