Its on Setanta Ireland, which as of 10 mins ago was broadcasting unencrypted.

Does anyone know if we will have to cancel our subscription or does the fact that they have ceased trading in the UK mean they will stop automatically? I know there is a help line number but I can imagine it being a bit swamped with callers at the mo.

if the channels have ben stopped than the subscription should but i would cancel your direct debit just incase

The majority of people who had setanta did not pay by direct debit but a recurring monthly fee. If you did not setup Direct Debit then YOU cannot cancel only Setanta can (big thing about it not long back as well)

Yes I will cancel anway. But not until tomorrow afternoon, in the hope that Setanta Ireland keeps broadcasting here, at least until after SOO 2.

The Administrators, DeLoitte are in charge now and have said they will stop taking subscriptions, but cancel in writing to be on the safe side. Anything to do with Setanta is best avoided. The way they ran the company makes the FC set-up look top notch.
