Get him signed and on a long contract. He could be our Long, Briers, Deacon , Burrows etc . We need a long term SH not a short term fix like we have been used to since Sterling.

Not sure why theres suddenly people banging on abut myler! Hes had half a season in superleague and a season in the nfp that for me proves nothing. We need a midfield general, with a proven history and a kicking game, not another young kid!!

Finch just signed for melbourne on tuesday, so it doesnt help us this season! If hes half decent for them he'll sign another deal at the end of the year barring salary cap restrictions. Why would he want to leave the best club in the world?

Melbourne cant afford to keep him according to numerous reports from oz. They have around 7 players OOC at season end who are looking for improved terms.

Why can't we have both. I agree we need an experienced proven player but why not get someone who we can also develop as our long term general. The best scrum halves in the league have always been the ones that have been at clubs for a sustained period of time. I agree with a previous post that Horne at 1 and Orford Myler half backs would be a great combo.

Watched him closely on Saturday and although he short kicking game is spot on and a good support player....he took a lot of wrong options on last tackle and his long kicking game was awful......he is another one sufferinf from the sky commentry teams constantw@nking over him.....he is good yes but not what we need at the moment.
