My brother in law is Sth African and they had servants. They would put their Rhodesian Ridgeback pups in a bag and hit them with a stick . They would open the bag and they made the housekeeper stand there with the stick . The dog , somehow , remembered and that made them guard dogs for the homeowner .

As a boy aged 11-15 I watched Rovers beat us and we tooka lot of stick from Rovers fans , a lot of it nasty , especially at old caravan park. I took an instant dislike to them AND more to their fans. It has never left me. Then the Colin Hutton/Lilley affair over the Gateshead merger etc really took the biscuit. That was hatred and vengeance personified and they wanted Hull out of business and for only KR to exist.

I think the use of the word 'hate' is more lazy english for want of a better word.

I love seeing certain clubs suffer on the field but i'm not keen on seeing them suffer off the pitch.

My worst experience at any game was in the 80's when a drunken FC female fan spat at a group of us and called my (then) 6 year old daughter a 'little R&W c***' after we tonked you at the Boulevard, maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and dislike ALL the fans of FC, including several friends. For the record, both our clubs have a number of nasty (so called) fans and as fans of RL we should be disliking these, no matter what shirt they were to justify their twisted allegiance.

Thanks for that at least I now know to hate your Brother in Law and his immediate family who partook in this activity, are they FC fans, I hope so then I can justifiably hate all FC fans as that story would make them all racist (I'm assuming the servants were black) animal abusers (even ethnic FC fans who work for the RSPCA).

Also, after the McAlpine incident, my dad and the rest of HISA were going to walk around Headingley before a Leeds home match with an apology banner. Gary Hetherington cancelled it on the day as he couldnt assure their safety!!

Its the same as when Liverpool fans used to sing about the Munich disaster to Man Utd fans.It it totally sick,but I am sure most fans of the clubs involved cringe at it too.

Exactly that. Gary was investing, Kath wasn't and Agar had a record of totally ignoring any up and coming youngster in our ranks.

Hate is a strong word, I only really hate one club and that's Wigan. I don't mind their supporters,most of them are knowledgable and law abiding, but I hate the players, the people within the club and all the ar$h0le ex players like Phil clarke that seem to think the world is against them.
I dislike Bradford intensely because they are so jealous and bitter about anything to do with Leeds, it's just a reciprocal dislike. They're also very scruffy and a bit slack (see "Rita Sue and Bob too" for details)
I place Hull 3rd behind the above two purely on some of the chavs that follow the team. A lot of Hull fans seem to think they've got to live up to some sort of intimidating stereotype and end up making right prats of themselves. It's always good to beat Hull and put the chav element in its place. Hull have a lot of decent fans but the large minority of chavs will continue to keep them in my top 3.

you appear to have some ability to know exactly how much each player get's paid in the wire squad, care to share? you just proved the case that your bitter and twisted!

i like hull, enjoy coming to your ground, enjoy the passion of your fans but find it hard to understand why you can made statements like you just have without feeling a little silly at times!
