top and bottom of it is that RH is who we have, who were pleased we still have and is a man doing a decent job presently and the stats you so love prove it

Irrelevant. You and others have stated repeatedly on this thread that Horne is not good enough for a top 4 side. His stats clearly prove that he's as good as a stand off playing for a top 4 side under a coach that many on here, you included, rate. Is that true or not?

He is average, I see you choose to ignore his stats compared to a quality h/back like Rani Chase ?

Well it's a shame there is only 1 Rangi Chase then isnt it!! And he has done that well he has steered Cas to 7th and no doubt to 8th place when we go above them

Also, it is worth noting that although he has shown glimpses of what he can do in previous seasons, it is only this season he has really shone - wonder what kind of impact Danny Orr has had on this - to organise the attack and give Chase the space he needs.

Rest assured, if Chase was playing Hull this year with the injuries we have had, i bet his stats would be close to Horne's. Horne has stepped up to the plate to be the organiser which is not his game, i bet Chase wouldnt do the same thing

Nope. I stated last season that I was afraid that he [imight[/i be finished. He proved me wrong and I'm big enough to admit it. Between the odd live game, TV, and highlights I've seen a reasonable amount of him and I can see his stats.

I'm not ignoring his stats compared to Chase at all. Chase is a special player and would walk into just about every side in SL. However, as he doesn't play for a top 4 side he's irrelevant to the argument about whether Horne is good enough for a top 4 side or not.

So you say he isn't good enough for a top 4 side, then compare him to a player from the eam currently in 7th place? Makes sense
