Quote: Riderofthepalehorse "Lewis Martin hat trick v London, I’ve got a feeling, incidentally did anyone else see Liam Tindal in the friendly before his injury, he looked really good, and hopefully will be back soon.

I saw Carlos coming out of M&S a week ago, he looked fit in his black trackie, hope he’s back soon as well,we could do with him.'"

Was genuinely impressed when I saw him at Donny pre-season.

Great burst of pace, looks for the gaps and runs the ball well. I saw enough to think he'll.go very well. Opposition and it being a friendly obviously taken into account.

One of our suppliers at work is a Rhino and says Leeds will live to regret letting him go.

But do we have the money to pay him off and replace him, looking at 150 plus to do that.

Both are smart signings, think Bullock could potentially be a long term signing, didn't realise he was 31 though, but still might be worth a 2 year deal if he impresses.

Russell brings pace, power and is a good finisher.

Indeed then probably the same wage again to get someone decent in, and we're not yet at the stage of the NRL season when a player has done something dumb and needs to be sent to SL for punishment icon_smile.gif

Pretty much agree with that side but just get a feeling we aren't going to see Carlos back yet. I'd maybe even give Severs another chance in place of Lane on the bench.

Quote: Yippee try yay "I think you're treated differently depending on the colour of your shirt (a lot of people don't agree, which is fair enough) but I don't believe had it been Welsby, Farrell, Walmsley etc... in Brown's shoes on Friday they'd have seen a red card. We are definitely a target but out of the 4 cards we've received this season only 2 were correct, you'd think we and especially Brown would've received an apology for the game wide embarrassment on Friday but nothing aside from generic rubbish from the RFL saying we got it a bit wrong but meh we done really give a toss.'"

I think regardless of how erroneous some of the decisions were our players should not put themselves in a position where there is doubt. Brown I would excuse possibly not Sao as he used his knees not sure about Sutcliffe. Herman and Pele deserved what they got. I don’t like this victim mentality. We won 2 challenge cups a few years ago - were we singled out then to get more penalised than any other team?

Quote: Cuddleclub "If Carlos isn’t fit next week then some serious questions need to be asked about him going forward. He’s played 40 minutes since the end of September last season, it’s just not good enough for a high earner, especially for a squad which is already massively under cap.'"

But he’s well into his 30s, served the club well and has a calf injury in the cold early season weather. His contract whenever it is up will be renegotiated at that time or he will leave. That’s professional sport of which injuries are a part. Nobody who bat an eyelid if he weren’t a good player

What about Trueman? By the time he's back in May he'll have played fifteen games for us in a season and a half, in fact he'll only have played fifteen times since July 1st 2022. He'll be a top earner too.

Cator missed half of 2021, all but one game of 2022 and now is out for an undetermined period.

We can't just release contracted players because they suffer frequent injuries.

Re: Carlos by the way I'll take rumours on here with a pinch of salt. Why would he refuse to play?

It’s always the same when we have our seasonal injury crisis.
Conspiracy theories come up.
I’m sure we had a player refusal rumour before..was it last seasons injury crisis.

Separate comment on Sutcliffe appeal.
Really not sure what defence grounds the club have.
