As for the Reardon affair it was one viewpoint on a Sports Chat show.

Get it right,it was the sports editor spouting off below the belt and he is always doing it.He wants sorting out for his biased opinions.The blokes out of his depth.Other radio stations don't carry on like that so why the hell does he get away with it?.He trys to be a shock jockey and he is not very good at it.The sooner Radio Humberside get rid the better.

Alan Green on 5Live is well known for his strong opinions and questioning that have upset some.
I would not class Burns on the same level as Green , but he was making an opinion on a very topical issue.

He accused Hull FC of being "crass" and then made a joke about domestic abuse.

The man is a moron but the ban is pointless and petty.

With regard to refering to Hull as crass , well he may have a point with the timing of the Reardon signing.

No it isn't pointless and petty at all. Hull is clearly sick and tired of the bias and sniping of certain RH presenters. RH should report the news as fact, and if they want to offer opinion they should do so in a professional and curteous manner. These attempts by certain RH employees to replicate the Sun and Daily Star equivalent level of 'journalism' are embarrassing and not in keeping with the BBC and its remit to provide neutral, balanced and informed comment. Hull has decided not to bother with them which is Hull's prerogative. There are other ways of communicating with the fans, better ways than ever infact, and RH is now no more than a side show in that respect.

You wanna talk about 'petty'.....Then ask Shaun Briscoe the reason he wasn't allowed to attend a charity Question of Sport night a few weeks ago.

Gwilym Lloyd is OK and has been known to stick up for Hull. Craig Murdoch, Lee Richardson and Mike White are always fair. Over at Look North, Damian Johnson and Simon Clarke are good presenters.

Why ban all of them from accessing Hull players and staff?

That has nothing to do at all with Hull FC though. I don't care what Rovers problems are, that's for them to worry about.

If burns had remained professional and merely offered his opinion on the reardon signing then pretty much all the HUll fans would have had no beef. It was the comment about the entrance music which was ill advised
