Did you see the interview with Tony Jones the England RU coach pre -match. He started off in Aus. playing RL and was asked if he could pick one player from SL who would be a success in RU? He answered Jake Connor- provided he could get fit!

So after Eddie Jones made that comment about Jake needing to be fitter to play union, Carney said something like "a rugby league player needing to get fitter to play rugby union. Weve had a magician, now we've got a comedian!"

Not keen on RU but if there is one thing you do see in the backs in RU is that they have pace.
Connor is highly rated but his lack of pace is really evident at times playing full back
