He was injured, no sure what other options Radford had, personally I would have had whiting and crooks on the wing.

I just don't understand the Colbon thing. He's played three games and has done ok whilst not standing out. So we replace him with a centre leaving us with a centre wing partnership with a combined age of 42 and no recognised winger up against Meli, Sau, Hock and Chase (I haven't seen the game, just listened, but I'm assuming that's how they lined up?).

Now if Radford doesn't think Colbon is good enough then why sign him just over a month ago? Wing is a very specialist position, if Colbon isn't the answer then give young Tom Stark a go. Or at least play Whiting there who has some experience of the position.

Edit: Just seen a comment that Colbon was injured, but my point still stands.

No he didn't. But his defence was still suspect and he made handling errors that cost tries. Not super league standard in my opinion therefore as he was signed as a centre we need two new strike centres in my opinion as already stated.

absolutely gutted tonight, threw it away, beaten by a team no better than ourseleves but had the one player with a spark! yes there was some questionable decisions regarding thaler and the fages try, paea adamant it shouldn't have been given, but no excuse for throwing away two 10 point leads!

crookes had a worse game, but still think arundel derserves a run at centre, hope the lads ok looked a tad worse for wear

thanks Hull, 6 hour round trip drive to watch that poor performance...If you aint gonna turn up and just stand about like clueless dummies in defence would you expect the fans to bother turning up too?
It was like watching a bunch of amateurs in defence at times, seriously poor and certainly we missed Ellis
As for going for the drop with a few minutes left FFS, we had them on the rack in their 10-15m area, dab a kick through and make them dropout or runout from the line at worst not give them the ball back on their 20!

It's such negative thinking going for a drop (with no form of kicking them) when you're 6 points up and you've already being busted on the right time after time.

Salford are equally poor in defence and yet at times we just went down rabbit holes..
