To be fair, playing in Bradford's side, Kearney's been exposed to many more difficult defensive positions. I'd guess most Bradford's players look worse in comparison at this stage of the comp. If stats were definitive proof, I'd point out that Wade had made 14 errors to Kearney's 12, despite playing 2 less games, but I'm aware stats are relative. |

We've just had one of the warmest March's since records began!!
Hope Smailes latest tweet is correct. If FC can persuade him to stay till the end of the season then that would be a better solution, only 5 months to go and it might get a tad warmer  |

Proves to me what I always thought, that Owen is very talented young player, but is still prone to a bad mistake, like wade.
Be a good signing for hull, would prefer him to kearney.
Good news about wade, be great if he can at least see the season out, giving us time to sign a replacement.

I didn't quote the missed tackles on their own to be fair to Kearney for that reason, however as a percentage I think it's a fair point, and shows that he misses a fair bit more than McKinnon.
Errors are not purely a defensive stat, so it's pointless to bring them up. |

Kearney would be a downgrade on Wade especially as it would be another quota player. Owen would be another downgrade but has the positive of been young, talented and English. If McKinnon does leave and I think he will, I would like to see us go for another overseas fullback.
I'd rather sign overseas backs and sign British forwards as there are better British forwards about than there is backs.
