and a blatant trip by sculthorpe on whiting too

The Turner one was definitely grounded, even their players looked shocked when he didn't give it. Still, we had the Briscoe interception try in the next set so it didn't matter in the end.

Come on lads talking about the ref...if we were on tv today there wouldve been 6 points in it...ref was awful!!! Gave hull far too much. At the end of the day u were always gonna win but well proud of widnes. Few silly errors and ref decisions cost us today

The ball was grounded because we were sat pitch side we couldn't have been closer was bemused why it was disallowed.

On the Turner "try" none of us could believe it was disallowed. Almost in front of us, ball grounded over the line. not sure how or why it was not given.

I was sat in front of that too and when it was disallowed I said it looked like Turner had dropped it.
Just shows how people will interprate the same situation differently.
The ref had a split second to make a call, think he did ok today to be honest.

Didn't think the ref was great all day tbh, seemed to have forgotten the markers square and flop rules and was hammering the interference law.

Same here, i thought straightaway he dropped it, thought then it was the right decision, having a video ref to slow the play down is great, but in real time the ref has to make the decision, and i thought (probably wrong) he got it right!

Definite try, had no problems with that one
