| A simple yet effective why of showing the fans displeasure at the current coach would be to photocopy AGAR OUT on A4 paper and hand them out like flyers near entrances to the stadium on matchday. Even better if the sky cameras are in town.
It wouldn't take a great deal organisation, a few like thinking fans share the cost of the photocopying and agree to hand them out. Trouble is you would probably face a fair bit of abuse from the so-called 'faithful' or pro-Agar fans (although it amazes me there are still any around).
Anyway, just a suggestion. It seems a bit harsh on Agar but needs must I suppose.

| I still reckon that a protest might get taken a tad more seriously if it takes place some time after we drop below the triple champions, and preferably outside the top 8. Otherwise the casual observer is going to wonder what exactly the protest is about.

Yer you're right unfortunately. For a a protest of any kind to work to it's maximum potential unfortunately things need to get a bit worse in some supporters eyes.
The scarves idea is a total non-starter, it's worked to an extent for Man U because they are a global club who get so much publicity, but even then it's only had the effect of drawing attention to their cause, it doesn't
stand a chance of getting the Glazers out. Translating that idea to a minority sports club with average attendance of around 14000 is a ludicrous idea.
The A4 'Agar Out' placards is a workable idea though and if done at a tv game should put real pressure on the board to get rid of him. I couldn't care less whether it's harsh on Agar.

| Can't someone sneak in a massive "Agar Out" banner and have two people walk it in front of the East Stand on a Sky game? That would get a bit of attention!

TBH I'd rather it said "sack the board" or "Kath out"
The new people in with half a brain wouldnt employ Agar. If he goes now, with the current administration we'll only get another

TBH that's never going to happen, unless we get a benefactor who doesn't mind losing money like Wire have.
A message (can't think of anything catchy as yet) that suggests the removal of the entire coaching set up would be good though, Agar, Last, Crookes, Pope etc. We need a clean sweep of the lot of them.

The people at the top employ these
Trust me they will not be loosing money or pumping it in to the club now.
Can u see evidence of this?

| Quote Standee="Standee"Explain to me what the point for the protest is?
Being profitable?
Being in 6th after 13 games?
There is no basis for a protest, unless you're going to call it the "We dont like Richard Agar" protest, which is, in a word, pathetic.
I dislike Agar as a coach with a passion, but a protest would do nothing but embarass us as fans.'"
I probably agree that any form of protest unless it involves severely reducing the clubs cashflow would not have any leverage. It could though if done in sufficiently large numbers get the media involved and perhaps make things uncomfortable or awkward for the board which may just influence people a bit.
I don't understand your argument here though , surely it's not where we are now it's the direction we're clearly going in that's the problem. We all can see that it's Agar that is taking us backwards so why is it pathetic to suggest doing something now rather than just waiting in silence and saying I told you so when we finish 12th/13th/14th?
The point of any protest is generally to persuade others of your point of view and/or to embarrass those you're protesting against.

| Quote Jake the Peg="Jake the Peg"The FACT about agar is that there is little or no evidence to prove that he is a good coach yet shedloads to the contrary.'"
I spoke to an ex player once, and asked him
"Who was the best coach, you played under?"
He said "Peter Walsh!"
I was shocked, and said "I thought it would be John Monie"
He said "Peter Walsh was brilliant technically, but couldnt get his message across"
Another fallacy, IMHO
How is Agar rated so highly in the game???
This was said by James Rule, that other coaches have said this,
Have they been to an Agar masterclass at training??

Don't me wrong, Kath and the board have got a lot to answer for with regard to letting Agar stay on this long and even for appointing such a buffoon in the first place. I'm just saying that they run the club as a profitable business and have made substantial loans to the club and take money out of the club to repay those accordingly. Therefore anyone who wished to buy them out would not only have to make them a satisfactory offer for their shareholding but also pay off the loans. The only type of person who would be willing to take such a financial hit would be a wealthy fan who's in it for pleasure like Wire have with Moran.
