Quote hull smallears="hull smallears" I worked at Brittania house for a while before I went travelling to aus. On one form (I swear this is true) when asked for the name of the father the answer was
"I don't know his name and couldn't see his face cos he had a crash helmet on!!!"'"
Works the other way too. When I gave up work I had to fill in forms for Incapacity and one of the questions was:
"What was it like, where you worked"
I was tempted to say
"Very nice thank-you, wall to wall carpets and the people were great"
But when I rang Britannia House to ask them to explain the question in more detail the chap actually said he didn't quite know as the questions were set by central government but he thinks it meant what kind of environment did you work in ie : shop, office, warehouse etc. I know there are some people out there who find form filling tedious and hard but surely they don't need to dumb down the questions that much.
