Remind me who initiated charging extra for derbies? And an extra £7 straight into their bank account, rather than a single £1 to charity? If people don't feel inclined to support Richard Horne, fine, but it shouldn't be turned into "revenge" against FC. Your unofficial chums are calling for this to be a headline in the local media: "Rovers revenge for FC fans boycott". FC won't be impacted one way or another. |

Its the fact that FC imposed a compulsory contribution to a charity on ROVERS fans and then gloated over THEIR magnificent donation to the media that rankles .... Rovers fans had no choice but to pay ... there was no way that we could have opted out other than by not going. So, because of FC's deplorable actions one of THEIR players is going to suffer financially. Hard luck mates ... they should have thought of that!
I actually complained to CinN afterwards. Lets just say, according to their response, it's unlikely that the situation will be repeated!

A somewhat selective memory.
Hudgell started all this with his £7 supplement, not just once but 4 times. And not to charity either.
FC will not be impacted either way by you choosing not to go, the only one to lose out will be Richard. What you are "proving" by boycotting the 10 year testimonial of one of the city's sporting role models is unclear. Surely a more appropriate boycott would be the KC derby? |

Before spitting your dummy further than James Graham, you may want to get your facts straight. The ticket prices for that game were increased by £1 throughout the stadium, it wasn't just for Rovers fans. Well done for ignoring the fact that your club increases the price of a ticket by 70% when we play at Craven Park too, but only for away fans, not throughout the stadium.
And you actually complained to Children in Need about a company rasing money for them? Get a life, you plank. |
