If a company looses £300k one year, it need to make a profit of £300k to balance it's books.
You keep indicating that Hull NEED 14500 as an average just to BREAKEVEN. They don't 
Who's to say that Watts, Pitts, Arundell, Crooks, Johnson will not feature for England at some point? Even if they don't, I don't see a great deal wrong in a chairman bigging up a new / potential signing.
I'd rather have a chairman who is visibly active is trying to bring in quality than one who creams his pants at the fictitious fortunes apparently coming rovers way.
