| Moa has been charged with a grade B offence for a dangerous shoulder charge so we will see what happens tomorrow

Graham Hallas is on the committee so we should be OK.

| Nothing on RFL or club website about it yet. Grade B carries maximum 2 matches - less if classed as careless.

FFS we were playing a poor London side and our play was disjointed and lacking speed or aggression IMO and 22-4 was a bit flattering as neither side looked like theyed be capable of touching the eight. Then Moa goes off needlessly and we lose any cohesion we had before the incident and London score two tries to our none. I think it was a poor performance from FC but obviously some of that was down to the week off against Cats and i know its early days but im not impressed at all with Seymour who so far in pre-season and yesterday has been distinctly average.

I've heard he couldn't give a flying one what you think.
Personally I thought he looked good, with room for improvement of course (and I'm sure he doesn't care what I think either)

I respect your opinion even if I dont actually agree with it.
I might revise my reckless to careless, it is less divisive, the actual wording is
I don't think there is any distinction between a shoulder charge tackle and a conventional tackle in the rules. Either way, if the attacker's sudden change of direction means that a shot that would otherwise have been perfectly legal makes contact with the head, it can hardly be argued that the tackler was careless.

I stand by my earlier comments.

Gentle aluded to the fact in the pre-match not to expect miracles from Seymour. He certainly looked to be going through the motions to me, getting a feel for things. Certainly didnt pull up any trees but that that was expected to be honest. spent a lot of time at the play the ball with Danny h having more of a half back role.
Certainly put some work in in defence and put in a number of very good tackles.

Why would they?
They will have to judge on available evidence, evidence that will also be available to Hull FC. The conversations between VR & match referee are recorded too so it will be interesting to see if the VR really did make the call to dismiss. If there is deemed a case to answer and Moa receives any sanction at all, I can see a robust presentation being made before the appeals tribunal.

He's been charged after being looked at by the review panel, so there is at least a case to answer. Like you, I reckon the club will be fairly robust in their defence of Moa and I'd be surprised to see anything worse than SOS. Though I'd be disappointed with that, as he clearly should never have walked.

So let me get this straight; on the one hand you're not happy because we lacked aggression, but on the other, Moa was completely at fault for injecting some because it was unnecessary. Which is it?
