I know, but it's what i'd do. For the record i'd leave Briscoe on the wing next year, i'd play Berro centre, i'd bring McShane in on a 12 month loan and i'd break the bank for an Oz half back.

I take your point but I'm not convinced by him at all. My first choice would be to bring a halfback in but if not then get a better full back in and use Tansey as cover.

Bennet used Berrigan there as shock factor, I think he only played hooker 5 or 6 times that season, bennet held it off as long as possible so teams wouldn't be able to work him out.
