Think the fans waved the lot of them away.

Is it going to happen though? I genuinely cannot see anyone coming at this immediate point in time.
However if we can we have two weeks for them to implement their own stance and rid of this attitude the players currently have!

There's a photo of him with the fans on one of the FB groups so he definitely went over. The comments on the post mention abuse was aimed at him.

Probably depends on who we are targeting. Looks like we have been targeting employed individuals but maybe we need to target the unemployed. Personally I would just throw money at Holbrook and give him whatever he wants.

| To me it's looking like lam is coming for next season. Signing leigh players, talking up grix fir the rest of this year and lam being less than convincing when he talks about his future at leigh. I don't think he is the man to getnus out of the hole were I but I'm not the one signing the cheques

I was at the game. At the end of the match, the players sheepishly came over to within 20-30m and applauded the fans. They received some boos and some fans sang ‘what a load of rubbish.’
Charles, Martin, Scott and 2-3 other players came over to the stand to see their families and fans. I don’t know if Charles had something said to him but he looked upset and in shock. He stayed out for a further 5-10 mins and was the last player out there. In that time he received a lot of love and support from the fans and he went along the barrier shaking every fans hand. Grix finally came out and walked back with him to the dresssung room.
Jack has been nothing but a bright spot on an awful season. He has a bright future ahead of him. I have seen nothing but the fans support for him. Shame on any fan who said anything different today.

| Just a few random thoughts, since travelling back from the London game:
That was Danny’s 3rd or 4th HIA in two seasons today, do we just agree with Danny, that the next home game with Leeds will be his last for the club and we can give him a send off that he deserves? We have to think about his health, we also have to look to the future. England have just announced the same with Jimmy Anderson that the First Test this season will be his last. Maximum respect yes, but no room for sentiment when you need to build for the future and he is not going to be around next season anyway.
Jordan Lane said in the HDM 5-6 weeks ago that the players knew what they had to do in training. How is that going Jordan?
In his post match interview, Simon Grix said that it wasn’t down to coaching today. If not, what does the coaching play book say about last tackle plays when you have Jake and Jack able to kick, but somehow from the PTB we give it to a forward to run it in on the half line? Where in the play book does it say do not kick the ball dead from the kick off? Both incidents led to their two tries before half time. Also after their penultimate try, we were 10 pts behind with about 12 mins left. At the kick off there was a 30m x 30m area with no covering London player, but 3 Hull players. We decided to kick deep?? Would a coach not encourage his players when chasing the game, to try something different. A 3 v 0 player advantage with a short kick off is likely to return possession!! Steve Evans will be turning in his grave, he was the master of the short kick off.
A great player, but Gaz has been part of the coaching team for 3 years now. As always, today he was running on and off the pitch giving advice to players. Either the players are ignoring him, aren’t good enough to execute what he is saying to them or the advice is wrong?

| Whoever gets the job has got an almighty task ahead of them because Wayne Bennett couldn't get a tune out of this lazy, spineless, talentless team. If it was a feasible thing to do I'd keep Walker, Trueman, Ese'ese, Ashworth and a bunch of the youngsters and bin the rest. Unfortunately it's not fantasy rugby league so we are stuck with this rubbish for a while yet.

| On the subject of Grix's comments about it not being the coaching, the truth is that he is probably right... to a point.
How many coaches have we had over the years saying about how well the players train and then it gets to the game and we get performances like yesterday? Coach after coach can't be getting the training wrong all the time. That's not excusing the coaches but there's got to be more to it. Something seems to happen between training and the match where it seems to really come down to what mood the players are in that particular week and it's been that way for years. Look up McRae's cancer comment from 20 odd years ago and you can apply that to our current squad. It very much feels like it's a mentality issue to me and until someone can root out that kind of culture (yes, I know people hate that word!) we'll never be able to forge the new identity that Myler is seeking because they'll inevitably revert back to old habits. It only took them a few games to do that with Grix.

He's obviously got a bee in his bonnet about us at the moment but to be fair to him, I don't think he's wrong with what he said.

| Whilst he is correct about the relegation thing (there is a lot of things that needs changing about RL but we have to get on with it as it is) and then players/coaching staff etc are trying hard, he does make himself look like a complete fool (I'm not talking about his jacket etc either)
Could you imagine if AP was have a few bottles of wine and ranting off on social media, all the FC fans would go into meltdown (more so then we are atm) the club would look like a laughing stick (even more so then atm).
It does look like at the start of the season the hierarchy have said 'we can't go down, cut the cost of everything so we can clear debts and go again next year', if there was relegation would that have happened? I'm not sure. Maybe, but not too this extent.
DB really does make himself and the club look very small time and unprofessional with his little social media rants, which isn't fair on the club, players or supporters.
Something tells me that things really aren't very rosey over at his club

I think this is a prime example of why you can't just pin the problems at the club on one area as some are prone to do (particularly on the socials). It's not just a coaching problem, for example, nor the players mentalities as I alluded to in a previous post. It's both. But it's other things like this with the heirarchy. And I don't think it's just been this year. This has been years in the making and it's now coming back to bite us big time. But because it feels like it's everywhere within the club, it means there's no quick fixes as it feels like it is something ingrained into the club.
I like what Myler has said in his interviews so far. It feels like he gets it, understands the problem, and has the ambition and drive to sort it. But it sure isn't going to be easy for him.
