Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "Since it's not on TV and is unlikely to have any good close up shots I imagine it will be inconclusive.
We have seen a few instances lately where a player has been accused of biting and it's actually been the "bitten" player who was in the wrong. I'm thinking of the Miloudi incident, McGillivray at the world cup, and I think there was another this season but I can't remember who. But since Jake had the ball at the time I can't see how it could have been one of those situations. If he had a bite mark then he was bitten, and would the ref have put it on report if there was nothing there?
I know this is Jake Connor we are talking about, but he has never claimed anything like that before.'"
just to say, this happened sort of in front of me, second half the players came out and connor was lining up in front of the south stand, he was gabbing away constantly talking at our left hand side, hughes and i think it was patton he was actually aiming it at.
I can't recall what time the alleged incident occured, but i iirc it was on a bit of a breakaway and he got monstered in a 4 man tackle, hughes and patton were definitely in it(one of the few tackles patton actually made) we got off one by one and thats when he lay on the floor yelling at the ref who eventually stopped the game to have a look.
It wouldn't surprise me if he was pushing and shoving with his arm trying to get players off and he's shoved it in someones face/mouth, the reverse of what chilly did last year which was a C words trick on his behalf.
