Of the rest, widnes aren't a bad side but have masses of injuries all the time, hudds are poor but have a new coach so could pick up. rovers aren't a bad side and if they can keep their key players fit (which they haven't been able to) may be in with a shout of 8th place whilst les cats continue to massively underperform given their squad. I think the only 2 at risk of relegation are hudds and widnes personally but it remains to be seen how well toronto and toulouse go in the middle 8's. Wouldn't be surprised if no one lost their SL status this year'"
Lui is out long term isn't he

Not sure,. If he's fit I'd maybe tip them to squeak in 8th but if not I think rovers might get it. hudds, les cats and widnes are gasher than gash

I think Huddersfield are the best of those sides but they need to start getting some players back.

Is it a genuine opinion though, or is it just an attempt to wind up a certain someone?
The middle 8's are all set to be very interesting this year with Toronto and Toulouse playing so well (hopefully London are just having a blip). We however, clearly wont be playing in them.

| I guess someone might play Catalans, Toronto, Toulouse and London away, what a joke.

The four Super League teams will all play two Championship teams at home and two away.
If it finished
11 Catalans
12 Rovers
1 Toronto
2
3 Toulouse
Rovers would have those three away.

| I'm sure Toronto have said they'll be playing their middle 8 home games at home.

looks pretty reasonable to me. Much better than reversing those home fixtures and travelling to toronto and catalans. Realistically those should be 3 home wins and at least 2 away

| Widnes need all their best players fit, and that's what has undone them the last two years.
Giants have a new coach which may give them a bounce, and Catalans have some decent players but are ill disciplined and badly coached.
Leigh are running into form now as well, so can see the middle eights being very tight, exciting and probably low on quality.

I support expansion but the lack of away fans at Catalans games (and London in the beforetime) makes those games less exciting to watch. I hope the loss of revenue will be made up by better TV and advertising deals but knowing our sport it won't.

| Another 2 points in our quest to avoid the middle 8s. Given Catalans look a much better side with Drinkwater, Huddersfield have won their last 3 games and we're down on numbers that was an important win. Borrowed this image from Twitterhttps://pbs.twimg.com/media/DdqSdMoU8AMmRjL.jpg:large" >

| Rovers are doomed. I'd expect Toronto to go up automatically, and London/Toulouse via MPG. Rovers will get MPG at best.
