I completely agree that he is looking at the Bradford model, however they also had pace in the backs and craft in the halves, a hooker who was effective in the opposition 25 and internationals throughout the team - not workhorses.

Massive physical mismatch at the heart of yesterday's game - across the field but particularly in the backs. It was obvious from the stands the moment the teams started warming up. That's the most depressing thing for me - although we have Ellis and Feka out and Pryce is a big player we're miles off matching a full strength Wigan side for presence. Miles off.

The club has been in decline since 2007 and the only constants in that time have been radford, horne, last, whiting and yeaman, 3 of which are the coaches. I really get a sense that the bulk of fans have had enough and those who are still going are doing so out of a sense of loyalty or habit. I see numbers continuing to dwindle and expect pass sales to be down significantly next season. Certainly most of those I sit near in the east stand seem pretty disillusioned.
