Why does it seem to be a common problem with hull that we can not back up a good performance very often?
What little perceived progress we had made seems to be being undone once more with so far another one out lack lustre performance.

Very good kicking game, bar a couple from Widnes.

Would that be because they're actually playing well and showing some desire?

They may not be doing anything 'special' but they are making no errors whatsoever. That's difficult to play against at the best of times and we're not having the best of times.
