I'd say there's 4 I expect to make it - Lancaster, Logan, HTW & Turgut and about 3 or 4 others that could - Fash, Matongo, Dean and possibly Downs.
Edit: Can't believe I forgot Abdull! So that's 5 I expect to make it.

Edit
If 5 of the current crop of U19s make the step up to becoming established SL players that would be an excellent return and something we have not seen for decades. It would really augur well for the future. Fingers crossed.

Don't want to be too negative but it's hard to judge with young players. many end up in the championship or drifting to the amateur game. they could also go the other way too - poached by other SL sides if they break through. but yes, 4 or 5 becoming established would be an excellent initial return on the academy investments

| Lancaster abdull think will be best bet. Logan looks to small and doesn't have enough pace but cert could fill out more so who knows. Same with turget needs to fill out more but cert runs hard enough

| If the 5 I mentioned are not established SL players in 3-5 years I think we'll have failed them.

Pretty certain we will fail them with the current set up, unfortunately, hopefully they will get a chance at well coached professional club

Going on the past history of any junior set up, including much larger and more sophisticated set ups in Aus it is rather unlikely that all 5 will become established SL players. Depressing I know, but that's the way it is and it needn't be because the club (or indeed the player themselves) has "failed". Players aren't predictable machines and there are far more ways a career can go wrong than right.

Not sure that's true, there's a few from our 2005 GF winning academy side that are established SL players now. Leeds, Wigan?? There's plenty of recent examples.

Edit
Fair call that.
One kid i like the look of whose name doesnt get mentioned is Callum Smith, fairly unknown as i believe he's from Lincoln but he's had some great games this year.
U16s are at Bishop Burton next Thursday evening 19:00 and U19's at YPI on the Saturday 16th at 12:00 if anyone fanices a look before the Cas game

| Going to be a tough game for them missing 5 or 6 first choice players, luckily Saints have similar.
The u16s won last night v North East academy 30-16, couple of late tries pulled them out a tight contest

Maybe they aren't as good as we are led to believe.
