Berrigan did 3 years, he was due to do a 4th but swiftly moved on once certain tax loop holes were due to be closed.

As for Hodgson, he just wasn't very good at the time he was released. Rovers got lucky that one of our cast offs turned out alright for them.

Hodgson went because the club would not pay him a a couple of grand extra to help cover his travelling costs for training. The guy was gutted to leave at the time and I do remember having a debate on here and most people where not bothered at the time. I always thought it would come back to haunt us and it did , big time.

A couple of grand for travelling costs? Almost £50 per week? What was he travelling in?

As for Lineham, I doubt we'd let somebody who was in last years dream team and has 3 years left on his contract go.
