Green and Leuluai would make a lot of sense given the way you talk about your half backs.
If Green leaves Wigan we have Powell, Hampshire, Sarginson & Williams who can play 6. Felt sorry for him when he copped that injury last Saturday, he looked devastated.

Be just our luck if we did sign leuluai as scrum half and a couple of games in houghton gets a season long injury and tommy goes to hooker and we're still looking for a scrum half . Then Horne comes out of retirement to help out !

Just asked Moley about the TL rumour and got the reply maybe. I think if he says maybe, its a yes, just waiting for finalisation.

Also an excllent halfback, miles better than we have, lacking a kicking game for sure, but can run, pass orgainse and tackle.

He has played 7 for NZ, New Zealand Warriors and Wigan (were he was MOTM in the GF). If he isn't good enough I am not sure who is, in a area that is really hard to recruit, I'd be shocked if we can sign a better player than him.

Not really hard for Salford,St Helens & possibly Warrington.

We need a half with a kicking game who can organise and open up defences. leuluai doesn't have a kicking game and never seemed that creative to me. I'm not sure on the organisational side as I've never taken that much notice of him but if he only offers 1/3 of what we need then he'll just be another disappointment. He's a hooker who can do a job in the halfs but isn't good enough to be a first choice 7 IMO

Strange as some of the top coaches in the world disagree with you, obviously you know than coaches like Maguire.

Long kicking isn't perfect, but we need more than that and he offers all the others we need.

Surely we should be looking at improving our team and the fact that he is miles better than we have.

Salford haven't got a decent 7, in fact they loaned there best 7 out to Cas.

Saints did and got lucky at the right time, 2 months later and he would have stayed in the NRL, when they signed him, he wasn't in great form, also we went for him.

Warrington are playing Bridge and Rachford at halfs.

The only 7 available that is as close to what we want is Dobson, but he will be high demand.

So the fact he can't get into the NZ Warriors side means he isn't good enough, does the same apply to Dobson who can't get into a poor Newcastle side?

Thomas Leuluai is a fine player, no doubt, but there must be serious concerns about his fitness. He's still struggling with the groin injury that cut short his World Cup. There were even reports that he might not play again this season.
