| Quote: UllFC "I agree that Pearson should be blamed for two bad coaching decisions, but i think/hope that his longterm strategy is to have a team with a core of young local players (like Leeds Wigan and Saints) and that we are just in transition until the young kids are ready.
the risks of that strategy are that the youngsters may not be good enough, that the crowd grows even more disgruntled at seasons of transition and the new league format has put a spanner in the works in that if you have an average season you end it playing Batley.'"
Right now there's a very real risk that we'll START it playing Batley.

| On the official site. "Radford bemoans the lack of enthusiasm." is that both players and fans?

| Quote: B0NES "Blame Pearson for this mess . .'"
He has made some bad choices .
McRae misadvised him . Pearson trusted him and he failed .
Also his choice in Radford is now looking very bad . We will be in the bottom 4 in the next few weeks , nevermind the top 4 !!

| Quote: BEN_THE_BLACK&WHITE "Said when he was appointed it was too soon for him, it's too big a job for him and he is way out of his depth just another example of fc doing things on the cheap when it comes to coaching.
I really don't see us improving or progressing under radford and can see a sub 9k crowd on Friday, as a pass holder Im seriously considering not attending on Friday and I'm seriously considering my season pass renewal for next year, I'm fed up of season upon season of poor inconsistent performances and false promises.
I just don't see a end to this constant merry go round of seasons in "transition"
Rafdford is right regarding the crowd, the atmosphere is poor but it's not due to the passion of the crowd it's due to the fact that the kc has and always will be too big for us, I remember the boulevard always had a great atmosphere even with smaller crowds then we get now, this was due to the fact it was small and compact and the hardcore singers where all grouped together and not spread over a vast area of all seating stands, you've only got to attend away games to see what sort of atmosphere us fc fans can create when we all get together. Sure there's been some great nights and atmospheres at the kc but the poor atmospheres greatly out number the the good atmospheres, the kc is great facility wise but atmosphere wise it's rubbish. I'd love us to have something similar to Warrington.'"
A cracking post, hits the nail on the head.

| Quote: Burtons Forearm "The high point of Radford's radio interview was claiming Leeds defensive structure is rubbish but they win by being more enthusiastic........ brilliant Leeds are so successful because they try hard.
Here was me thinking that having a backline which would be the envy of plenty of nrl clubs and having the best players of their generation in other positions had something to do with it.
Boy is he out of his depth. Then he probably was by the time he got to primary school.'"
I have just watched the interview on FC live and his comments about Leeds are ridiculous to the extreme.
Why he had to mention the idiotic supporter too was also irrelevent and unnessary.
He's so out his depth it's painful, AP should put him out of his misery.

| Quote: Mr. Zucchini Head "Pearson has done well for the club, his investments in youth and facilities will set us up well over the years, but I do get fed up with his tiresome claims with nothing to back them up. It is about time he put up or shut up, because when it comes to first team, all we have had so far are half measures.'"
AP has done a fantastic job with the investments he's made into the structure of the club so I will be forever thankful for him for this but first team wise there is definitely room for improvement. The big question for me is what can he do to turn things around?
I don't think anyone can simply say that getting rid of Radford will suddenly make everything better. It isn't going to solve the attitude problem because our past coaches have had to deal with this too. That problem will not go away overnight. Besides, who comes in? We'll just end up appointing another assistant most likely because who else is available that's a proven head coach? The first answer that would probably spring to mind is Brian Noble. I personally wouldn't have a problem with his appointment but I know there are plenty on here that would.
And I don't think it's simply a case of saying that certain players aren't good enough. It's all well and good saying that we need a world class scrum half for example but even if we did find such a player he'd still have to contend with the players around him failing to show up for games or failing to put in a full match performance.
For me there needs to be a major overhaul and clear out as we try and get to the root of the inconsistency and attitude problem. Why have coaches been and gone and yet the problem remains? Is it certain players? Dare I suggest that some of our players that have been around through the various regimes are to blame? Could it be Yeamo, Horne or Whiting that's the problem? They've been around a long time and if any of them have the wrong attitude then it's likely to have spread to new signings and the youngsters coming through. Could it be the coaching staff? How many of them were at the club back in the Agar days? It's all well and good changing the head coach but if he's working with the same people that previous coaches worked with then how can attitudes change and the players improve if the same people are still training them?
This is just speculation on my part of course. I have nothing to back up my theories as to what the problem might be.

| Looking at the stats, how long was Tuson on for?
Made 7 tackles and 5 hitups, is it worth having him on the bench, give me Whiting over him everyday of the week.
Disappointing stats for Thompson, i'd rest him next week.
Good metres from both wingers, but made mistakes that went towards costing us the game IMO.

Tuson's hamstring flared up, that's why he didn't play for long.
