| Plenty of effort but totally clueless with the ball in hand. There really is no improvement at all in this area since agar went. We look like a team who doesn't train together all week. Surely, with your playmakers missing or unfamiliar with the rest of the team, you absolutely have to be using set plays and executing them to perfection? I see no evidence whatsoever of it.
Support play non existent, although the fact we never look to offload makes this pretty much irrelevant. Last tackle plays in the opposition 20 are piiss poor. I'm bored of watching us ship the ball aimlessly across the line with no one willing to run with it and challenge the opposition. Where are the dummy runners causing confusion in defence?
Very disappointing IMO. If hudds had of had the possession and field position we did today they'd have won by 20 points

agree, if we were trying set piece moves and they just weren't coming off (such as knocking on during a fast passing move) then I'd say fair enough...the issue is we don't even attempt any special plays and as you say the team look like they train on their own all week.

And we seem to do everything in slow motion compared to other teams

| Still can't convert possession in the opponents 25 into points.
Been no improvement in this area of our game.
We look so laboured its painful to watch.

Huddersfield employed that tactic at least twice as many times as us during the game out of interest.
Hate to say it but the majority of our attacking woes begin at the pass from acting half - Danny Houghton I'm afraid is just not consistent enough. He had two props to hit under the sticks either of which would have scored had the pass been where it should have been but instead it was impossible to take and the chance was lost.
We were better for sure without being just good enough. Miller tried to take it to the line a bit more often and his own performances whilst not perfect are encouraging. Azza gives his all but at the end of the day isn't a half and he'll put in one good performance in four or five in that position. At the end we lost down to a piece of bad fortune but we need to do better next week - at least there is something to build on after the previous two.

it's not a bad tactic if you have big forwards like Crabtree, and it can be used to tire out the opposition. But we have the likes of Lynch slowly plodding in to the line, which neither causes a gap or tires the opposition!

Thought Lynch was as good as if not better than Crabtree today. Our forwards more than matched theirs which is why we stayed right with them for the whole game. The "drop off ball" that our fans like to bemoan is used extensively in the league every week.

| Thought we played well today despite lacking direction in attack.
1st Point i'd like to make is, Houghton needs to practice passing right alot more. To many times his dodgy passes are at our players legs. I no it's hard if your a right handed player but it's professional rugby league.
I thought we were unlucky with some dubious refereeing decisions. How on earth the touch judge could not see the knock on in the second half, but what was worse was Bentham ruled back to 1. There was no FC player in sight.
Overall the performance was good, But to be honest i were expecting it as we were up against a good team.
Last thing, what actually happened in that little scuffle after Ogre's try?? All i saw was a quick pass by Miller sent Ogre crashing over then there was fighting.

| Very disappointing to see our great home form of 2012 disappear.
Last year we managed W12 D2 L1 whereas this season it's W5 L5. We are almost certain to fail to match last season's 32 points and it may be our worst points return since 2009.

it had stopped moving before he took it over the line, correct decision, bad error from McDonnell that.

| Still playing too much dumb rugby. Arundel and the fullback mistake has been mentioned but also Tickle kicking the ball out on the restart. Miller looked a lot better today tacking charge. If Horney is fit then this could be a good combination. Also interesting to note that they moved Miller to the left when he is defending.

Poor distribution by Houghton under their sticks cost us a certain try and Westerman knocked on near there in a tackle as well - something that fall-guy Lynch got slated for last week. Miller has definite potential despite obviously looking quite lightweight at times - it must be one hell of a baptism coming into this side at the minute.
