I thought we missed Whiting of his usual standards full stop. Wasn't too impressed with him tonight, and possibly the game-changing try was largely of Whiting's making with a silly penalty backed up by a weak effort for a missed tackle. They never lost the lead from that point.

EDIT: Also, at the point Whiting left the field we were 8 points behind, the biggest margin of the night.

It was one of those games where both defences were poor,but both attacks looked good,as I posted earlier great entertainment but a losing coaches nightmare.

How do you define terrible? Because I'd certainly class the three tries in 5 minutes as terrible defending. And our goal kicking was pretty awful. Some of our attacking play was terrible as well.

Thought it was a good game tonight despite the loss. Thought Miller had a good game, but tonight shows we miss Tickle for his goal kicking.

I expected us to win tonight and it appears so did the players. lack of a leader. And holdsworth's goalkicking is getting worse.

Cas are a poor side, we where worse, which after Gentles bluster about Catalans makes me think we've got some passengers (fans and players)

Quite a large part of goal kicking is confidence. I'd say his is probably shot.

I thought Castleford played poor in first half, but came out on fire second. They were up for this more then us.

Those 5 mins were poor, Cas came out with an intensity we weren't expecting. Watts and Whiting fell off a few and Cas, through some very good play, took advantage.

My only gripe with our attack is the majority of defenses are so well drilled that their up on our 3rd/4th receiver as their taking the pass, so we need to stand deeper. This isn't always possible though.

Cas have had some good results at home and have beaten better side than us, i'm disappointed to lose but I won't join in in the mood swing mentality of some.
