Ok so the vast majority of people completing the survey voted for Sundays and AP decided to announce his decision straightaway rather than waiting until after 5 September.

The statement says that there is a majority who want Sunday rather than Friday games. This move will be to suit the soccer and no other reason.
When he dumps Agar and the season tickets and crowds increase he will say it is down to moving to Sundays. It will, of course, be due to him sacking Agar, recruiting a top class coach and bringing in a couple of quality signings.
That way he has pleased both clubs.
The soccer has HullFC playing the day after them rather than the day before when/if they both clash at home.
Rugby fans will be happy because Agar has gone and suddenly the club is in a far better position that in has been for some years.

I think were all hoping for a new coach and a couple of quality signings, like you say if this happens the changing of game days wil become irrelevant

indeed, because we'll be playing Friday/Saturday for Sky, so no benefit to City (and I don't think this has been done soley(sp?) for their benefit anyway)

Couldn`t agree more Standee, although our main game day will be Sunday if we get a new coach along with the new signings who can get us to play to our potential then we will have our fair share of games covered on Sky, this will give us a mix of Fri,Sat & Sunday games which is what Mr Pearson said when interviewed on FCTV the other week

it's better to be drip fed changes for the better over time, than read big statements about developments that then simply fade to nothing.

I agree, think Mr Pearson will give us a bit of news each week, hopefully building up to a big crescendo just before the passes go on sale, i`m pretty sure that will be his plan anyway

I'd prefer Fridays but will go on a Sunday if agar is gone. I presume the football may have been a consideration for pearson but I don't really care if he delivers us the winning team he's promised us

Prefer Fridays personally but not fussed as in reality we will end up with a mix of Fridays and Sundays because of the Sky scheduling.

More important issues yet to be decided and/or announced ? Who knows, probably only AP and he ain't saying yet which makes sense as the season isn't quite yet over.

If you think that then you are very naive, the guy is/has going to pump 2-3 million pounds of his own money into Hull, he isn't a supporter so want to be successful and get a return, he obviously thinks rightly or wrongly that a move to Sunday will get more people through the gate.

He isn't stupid though and it is obvious he knows that reduction in prices and more success on the pitch is the way forward.

It doesn't matter which day the game is played if we are winning (and it's cheaper to get in) the crowds will go up beyond anything we have seen, if we can challenge the top teams again we should average over 15K IMO.

traveling from edinburgh for home games,friday night rugby suited me,i was home again by lunchtime saturday,but sunday rugny means i get to spend more time visiting my family.it`s our young kid i feel sorry for,he has to put me up for 2 nights now,unless there is a late train that will get me back to edinburgh on a sunday night.
